1. What country are you from? What do you prefer us to call you by?I am from the USA, more specifically California, but I grew up in Oregon and went to college in New York. You can call me Aaron or Seraph, S.H. or something along those lines.
2. What language do you speak? Do you speak a second language? What is your primary language? My first language is English. I also know some Spanish (though not typically enough to hold a conversation) and a very little amount of Irish Gaelic.
3. What inspired you to get into Art?Originally? I started doodling, and drawing characters for games of Dungeons and Dragons. I probably made about 100 of those, and actually used something like five. The art I make now, my wands, arose out of college. I had flirted with paganism in High School, but it was mostly talk until college, when I joined the Pagan Circle and started learning. I started making wands for my personal use. It was after one of my wands was eaten by the dog and I had to make another that I realized how much I enjoy making them, and that I could make them for others.
4. What type of art do you enjoy creating? My wands. I love working with the wood. Carving, smoothing, burning designs, are all exciting to me. My wands are inspired by ancient myths. These myths are still speaking, and I love bringing them and their messages into my wands.
5. What type of art do you enjoy viewing? All kinds, but especially quality paintings and digital art. I also enjoy seeing other woodworkers, since they provide inspiration through examples of what others have done in the medium.
6. Why would you like to be a part of #Artfeedback?I want an artistic community that shares, comments regularly, and helps each other improve.
7. What do you want to get most out of #Artfeedback? To be honest, this answer is the same as the answer to number 6.
